Isokon Short Chair

Marcel Breuer

The Short Chair is an adaptation of Breuer's Long Chair, designed in 1936, launched to great acclaim and subsequently recognised as a landmark in the design of twentieth-century furniture. Following the initial success of the Long Chair, Breuer produced a design for a smaller, more space-efficient version of the classic lounger.
